1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of JK Vehicle Movements' services and website. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. JK Vehicle Movements is a professional vehicle transportation company operating across the UK and Europe, specialising in fleet and commercial vehicle movements.

2. Services

JK Vehicle Movements provides professional vehicle transportation services including but not limited to: fleet movements, commercial vehicle transportation, secure vehicle storage, tracked bulk fleet movements, and specialist vehicle handling. All services are subject to availability and our operational capacity.

3. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or our online booking system. Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to require advance payment or deposit for certain services. Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

4. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

All vehicles will be inspected before and after transportation. Customers must report any pre-existing damage at the time of collection. JK Vehicle Movements maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for all transported vehicles. Any damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

5. Liability and Insurance

JK Vehicle Movements carries comprehensive goods in transit insurance and public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the market value of the vehicle at the time of transportation, subject to our insurance policy terms. We are not liable for consequential losses, loss of use, or indirect damages.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled collection time will incur no charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows will incur the full quoted price.

7. Force Majeure

JK Vehicle Movements shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, severe weather, strikes, lockouts, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of equipment, or delays caused by third parties.

8. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Customer information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for service delivery purposes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
